COMPANY HISTORY

BtB Marine is an Australian company based in Hervey Bay, Queensland. It was formed by Chris & Eva Hough in 2007 with a clear vision: servicing the commercial vessel industry with cost efficient and reliable vessels.

In January 2008 BtB Marine opened their factory on Booral Road, Hervey Bay, which consisted of a boat building shed and a cutting/general fabrication shed, where the boat-KITs were cut out on the CNC machine, which can handle sheets up to 9m long.

Due to in-house drafting and cutting, optimising vessel lay-out was easily adjusted to customer needs. Chris and Eva were able to harness their combined 30 years of experience at sea and turn it into a great tool for building the most sea and work worthy vessels for their clients.

In those first years, BtB Marine commissioned Naval Architects to adjust existing models to new specifications, improving stability and so usability: creating a small vessel range at that time new to the market.

In April of 2012, BtB Marine relocated to their own brand new factory at Driftwood Court, Hervey Bay. Together with the expertise of qualified tradesmen and drafts persons they were able to focus on their available range of excellent boat models moving strongly towards the National and Global Professional Market and emerging trends.

With the introduction of the diesel outboard, BtB Marine immediately saw many possibilities and after years of research and development, the first outboard diesel powered Ultra Long Range will be available and on show this year.

Every vessel built by BtB Marine is still in service with satisfied owners who look forward to the new developments at BtB Marine.
